ElecVision and Middy's offer a number of training opportunities to customers and installers.
Some of these are "In house" courses and may or may not be accredited.

We also partner with other training institutions who offer more formal courses with Industry recognized certification.

Here are our current courses.

C-Bus Introduction.

This course is accredited by Clipsal and is a pre-requisite to attending the C-Bus Basic Programming Course.

Topics include -

• Why use C-Bus,
• How does it work,
• How is it wired,
• Hardware components,
• Network limits, and
• Addressing structure.
  

Course duration is approximately 6 hours; a Manual and Lunch are provided.
A nominal fee is payable.

Cat5 Endorsment.

Accredited course organized by Middy's but run by an external training company who conduct the relevant exams and assessments to comply with ACMA requirements.

Completion by Registered Cabler's allows them to add the Cat5 endorsement to their registration.

Contact your local Middy's branch to register your interest, courses are run when there are enough participants to make a minimum class size.

Victoria University.

Many courses are available including - C-Bus Basic Programming, Security Installers certification, and REC business courses. The University is also providing alternative session times for the C-Bus course.
