Alarm Systems
There are many good reasons to have an alarm system - to protect
your property, possessions, your family, and to give you peace of
mind.
The new era for alarm systems
ElecVision offers a new era of alarms and security. Alarm systems
are a familiar product to many of us. Traditionally, an alarm system
protects your home while you are away. The new era of alarm systems
is here, with a host of new features - fire detection, event monitoring,
remote control, and integration with your home automation system.
For example, your alarm system can be used to turn off lighting,
close the window shutters, and turn off the heating when you leave
the house - less for you to worry about when you leave and saves
you energy and money too!
Our smart new level of security provides -
- Partial arming to allow movement in designated areas.
- Personal "panic" buttons that can be carried around
your home.
- Pet sensors to reduce false alarms when pets are left inside.
- Integration with home automation - lighting control as you leave
or return home.
- Smoke detectors linked to sirens and strobes.
- Calls to your mobile phone when the alarm is tripped.
- Remote control of your alarm via phone or your mobile.
- SMS messages from the alarm system - know when the kids arrive
home!
ElecVision offers a range of equipment from basic, small commercial
/ residential cameras, right up to professional Sanyo products to
cater for more demanding commercial and high end residential applications.
Why not make use of our expertise in this area and ask us to help
you with selection and design? Don't forget, we can also supply
the cables, connectors, conduits, brackets, and fixings, so there's
no need to go anywhere else!
Access control
is often controlled by a security alarm system, although stand-alone
systems are available. When integrated to home automation, they
add convenience and ease of use. Keyless entry is now a popular
option whereby some form of ID is presented to a reader and then
doors are unlocked and security disarmed. Forms of keyless ID include
proximity cards & fobs, numeric keypads, and biometrics, such
as fingerprint and iris readers.
The fully integrated system
While
some alarm systems have a limited amount of home automation functions
built in, generally speaking, they do not have the power to control
a full home automation set-up. In this scenario, a dedicated control
system with an alarm system integrated into it gives a much more
reliable and responsive system.

dedicated control systems.
A fully integrated alarm system is individually designed to meet
the specific needs of your home and your family - alarm systems,
CCTV camera systems, video intercoms, and keyless entry systems.
